Become a Friend of FareShare

By giving as little as £2 per month, you will allow us to plan ahead, reach more vulnerable people and help more community projects. Regular gifts are extremely valuable as they offer FareShare a secure and reliable income, which means that we can plan cost-effective long-term projects.

We provide our Friends with regular opportunities to participate and will keep you updated with FareShare Brighton and Hove news.

Sponsored Events

Another way donate money is to organise a sponsored event (such as running a marathon or hosting a gala) for the benefit of Brighton and Hove FareShare. Click here to start raising money for us with justgiving.com.

Give directly from your salary

Donating to Brighton and Hove FareShare straight from your salary is a hassle-free way to regularly support our work. Regular gifts are particularly valuable because they allow us to plan long-term programmes. Once you have decided how much you would like to give, this amount is taken from your salary before tax is deducted. This means that if you give FareShare £10 a month, your salary reduces by £7.70 per month (if you are a basic rate tax payer).

You can make donations to FareShare from your salary if you are a UK taxpayer and if your payroll department runs a "Give As You Earn" scheme - just ask them. If not, you may like to consider making a regular donation to FareShare by setting up a standing order.

Leave Brighton and Hove FareShare a gift in your will

Including a gift to FareShare in your will is perhaps the most special, personal way that you can make your concern for homeless people live on for many years to come. Your gift to FareShare doesn't have to be big to make a difference to the lives of homeless and vulnerable people. Many of our supporters leave us a residue of their estate, having provided for their loved ones.

It is easy to include a gift to FareShare in your will. If you feel you would like to proceed, we suggest that in the first instance you contact your solicitor who is best placed to give impartial guidance and will advise you on how to make a legacy to FareShare. There is no specific wording that we require - however, you should include our charity number: 1093245 (City Gate Community Projects).

If you feel you would like to talk your decision through further or you have any questions at this stage about supporting Brighton and Hove FareShare's work with a legacy, please do not hesitate us on 01273 671111 or email info@faresharebrightonandhove.org.uk.
