Become a Food Industry Partner
FareShare could not continue its fantastic work without the support of the food industry. If you have quality surplus food and are looking for an ethical alternative to landfill, please get in touch.
We are calling on the food industry to complete its ethical supply chain by working with FareShare to ensure that good food isn’t wasted, but redistributed to vulnerable people in the community.
We are a tried and tested solution, with over 15 years of experience working with the food industry. We can help food companies identify opportunities to capture food surpluses within their supply chain and redistribute this food for consumption.
Benefits to your company:
- Helping you meet your waste target. - Reduction of your carbon footprint. - Reduction in waste disposal costs. - Increased Corporate Responsibility by working with an organisation that has a major social and environmental impact.
What food do we take?
Any food accepted by FareShare must comply with Food Safety legislation in terms of being fit for human consumption. If it could in theory be sold, then it can be redistributed by us. We take all reasonable care to ensure that the food we supply is safe and appropriately labelled. To achieve this we have systems in place to safeguard our consumers and our suppliers’ brand integrity. Therefore, we do not accept certain products where there is a significantly high risk to food safety.

By making the commitment to work with FareShare, food companies can make a significant difference.
Come on board and join companies like Nestle and Sainsbury’s who are already ensuring that as much as possible of their surplus food is going to people who need it through FareShare.
