Europe Ablaze Festival June 2013 MIW are looking forward to taking a team to be part of this exciting festival. People are gathering from all over Europe to worship and do mission together. BigChurchDayOut May 2013 A MIW team will be joining the Psalm Drummers again at this years BigChurchDayOut events in West Sussex. They'll be worshipping in various outdoor places throughout the site and leading workshops. For more info see the website: http://www.bigchurchdayout.com/

Good Friday Event Wallingford 2013 Rhonda led a MIW team to be part of a creative town witness that included dance, poetry, drama and visual art. The team moved in worship and also presented a drama through movement that accompanied a dramatic reading bring a mass of colour and vibrancy to the streets of Wallingford. The feedback from the local community who watched was very positive.

India MIW Base March 2013 Andy and Kirsty had an amazing and jam-packed time teaching for the 8th consecutive year on the School of Worship at the YWAM Chennai Beach Centre in March. A couple of alumini students who are using and teaching MIW in Delhi and the North-East of India joined us for the week, as well as students from 4 churches. MIW Watford Base We're really excited that our newest MIW base in Watford is getting more and more established. On Valentines day 2013 the base members took part in the global protestOne Billion Rising dancing from the town hall down Watford High Street, in their words ... We've moved! The big news is that after 20 years Movement in Worship and City Gate Church Brighton have moved out of City Gate Centre to our new home Brighthelm. We're excited about our new location, and once things have settled down we'll be hosting Brighton workshops from our new address: City Gate Church @ Brighthelm, North Road, Brighton, BN1 1YD

MIW USA Oct 2012 Adventures In October Andy, Kirsty & Amanda had an epic USA adventure travelling to Alaska, Louisiana and Mississippi. It was great to be with the emerging MIW USA family and to build new friendships for all that God is doing there. There was fun and powerful times of worship and intercession at the conferences in all three states. "Freedom" was a major theme of the trip. We'll be returning to the USA in 2013 ... dates will be released soon!

National Day of Prayer - Wembley Stadium, London UK Movement in Worship provided a dance and movement team as part of this national historic event on Saturday 29th September 2012. It was amazing joining thousands of people to worship and pray for our nation, adding our own colourful prayers. We'll be putting up photos in the gallery soon.

Congratulations to SJ and Chris on the birth of their new baby daughter, Safiya Eloise (meaning Pure Warrior) on 15th September weighing 8lb 8oz.

Congratulations to Rachel and John on the birth of baby number four! Naia Naomi was born on 17th September, weighing 8lb 3.5oz.

MIW Associates at the Olympics! Justin Watkins and Naomi Giffen both had the opportunity to participate in the Olympic ceremonies; Naomi as one of the Mary Poppins in the opening ceremony, and Justin as one of the 'yellow crew' in the closing ceremony. Read more about their experiences here.

MIW in Ireland MIW have been to Ireland twice this year. Andy, Kirsty & Carmen taught on the Christian Dance Fellowship of Ireland's weekend in April. Then Andy, Kirsty & Lucy returned in early September to spend a weekend with Mountain View Church in Bray. It's been great reconnecting with old friends and making new ones, and we're excited about some of the the MIW developments that are to come in Ireland!

Scotland Summer School July 2012 The presence of God was overwhelming at this year's joint MIW/Psalm Drummer's Summer School in Edinburgh. As we passionately sought God in worship, he met with us and worked through us to bless and fufill his purpose for the city of Edinburgh. A large number of Psalm Drummers accompanied us to 4 different points within the city: Calton Hill, the Grassmarket, St Giles Cathedral, and an evening event at Starbucks. The wealth of rhythm added an extra dimension to the movement. As well as worshipping God with our whole beings, we were able to witness and testify to those watching and listening. We also enjoyed our time together as a group, especialy during the two planned social evenings: a stunning BBQ by the beach, and a final meal together to celebrate the end of an amazing week.

BigChurchDayOut June 2012 Movement in Worship and the Psalm Drummers joined forces to create a cacophony of colour and rhythm at this festival.

Switzerland International Banner Conference In a beautiful location high above Lake Lucerne in Switzerland, more than 150 people gathered from 13 nations for the purpose of worshiping God and to intercede for breakthrough in Switzerland. Powerful times of worship and intercession were had in the birth place of the country, surrounded by the beautiful mountains.

Brighton Passion Play Easter 2012 Movement in Worship dancers joined Psalm Drummers and singers to do flash mobs on the streets of Brighton leading to the Passion of Christ play on the Brighton seafront. Click here to watch one of flash mobs ...

India MIW Base 2012 An international team Sandra from Germany and Adrienne from Togo / London joined Andy and Kirsty to teach on the School of Worship at the YWAM Chennai Beach Centre. They also returned to NLAG Chennai Church dancing and teaching at 4 consecutive services.

MIW USA Feb 2012 Adventures Andy, Kirsty & Adele had a great time in February doing two MIW conferences. We returned to Mississippi and went to Newark for the first time. Again people came from all over the USA from over 15 states. The new teaching on imagination was especially impacting and we saw freedom break out.

...Stepping Beyond 2012 We've continued to explore creative worship in 2012 with 2 evenings of worship in Brighton. ...Stepping Beyond 24-hrs events 2010-2011 The ...Stepping Beyond 24-hrs of Worship have been amazing. It's been such a privilege to join with friends from ... USA, South Korea, Columbia, Scotland, England and Wales for worship, feasting, friendship, colour, art, light, rainbows, rhythms, melodies, dancing, words, praying for the nations, tears, healing and laughter in the beautiful presence of God. We've had some amazing feedback from delegates and we feel that they are significant and powerful times.

MIW & Psalm Drummer Summer School In August we were excited to trial the first collborative MIW & Psalm Drummer Summer School in Brighton. Delegates travelled from the USA, South Africa, Germany, Ireland, Jersey and also from much nearer! There were two training streams, 'Movement' and 'Percussion' which merged together to take worship and intercession out into Brighton. The photos show these times at 'Hollingbury Fort' overlooking Brighton, and at 'Brighthelm' - a garden right in the heart of Brighton's city centre. We're planning the next of these Summer Schools in Scotland in July 2012 ... dates will be confirmed soon!

MIW USA 2011 Adventures Andy, Kirsty & Alison had a great time in July doing two MIW conferences in Mississippi and Texas. Over 130 people travelled from all over the USA to be there. People cames from 17 different states including from as far away as Pensylvania, Maryland, California and Alaska!

Scotland Prayer Tour Adventure! In July 2011 a group of MIW dancers and Psalm Drummers from N Ireland, England and Wales joined the Scotland MIW base for a prayer tour. This included joining to worship and pray with local people from Wick, Thurso, Fortrose and Inverness. The photo shows prayer at Dunnet Head; the most northly part of mainland Scotland ... for the wells to open and holy spirit fire from the north.

Holland YWAM School of Worship 2011 In May 2011 Andy Au, Kirsty, Daniella and Liz spent a week on the YWAM Heidibeek Base in Holland teaching on their School of Worship. A great time was had worshipping with students from Holland, Ireland, Indonesia, USA, Australia, South Korea, Rwanda and Egypt.

Aerial Dancing MIW Associate Naomi Giffen has been working with Zu Aerial Dance since returning from circus school in Vermont in June 2010. Her latest collaboration with Hazel was the creation of a stunning aerial dance theatre act "Me, myself and You". The piece premiered in the Brighton Fringe Festival in May 2011 and was a great success.

India MIW Base 2011... In March Andy Au, Kirsty and Katrina had another wonderful time with everyone at the YWAM Chennai Beach Centre teaching on the School of Worship. Mission in Bratislava... In October 2010 a MIW team travelled out with some Psalm Drummers to Bratislava, Slovakia to join local dancers and drummers to take worship into the city centre. This was part of 2 weeks of mission where all of the churches worked together to reach their city. Brighton Beach - Dancing & Drumming ... On Saturday 6th September an exciting combination of MIW Dancers, Psalm Drummers and Outpouring Evangelists took the overflow of what God has been doing among us onto Brighton Beach ... we had a brilliant time and even got an hour of sunshine. 19 people prayed to receive Jesus into their lives ... fab!

Psalm Drummers Windsor Castle ... On Saturday 2nd August 2008 a team of MIW Dancers supported the Psalm Drummers Summer School by dancing in their Celebration in the Queens St George's Chapel and in a Procession around the Castle Grounds. On Sunday 7th September footage of 60 Psalm Drummers & Movement in Worship dancers marching the streets of Windsor will be aired on the BBC’s Songs of Praise programme.

The Scottish Adventure ... The Hewitt Family and MIW Scotland base have started on their exciting adventure of selling their house and buying a huge old Church building in Newcraighall, Edinburgh. Over the next few months they are planning to completly redevelop the building into a large worship hall, a 24/7 prayer room, several flats and their home. Please pray for them as they jump into all God has for them ...
MIW coordinated the dance and visuals at the ‘Calling All Nations’ Berlin Stadium event on 15th July 2006. Andy Au and Kirsty Hallett led an international Team of 160 Dancers, Creative and Support people on the stage and running track. Many nations were represented within the team including the UK, Germany, France, Switzerland, Namibia, Italy, USA, Slovakia and Poland. We had an incredible time. See the Gallery for photos ...
